Terms of Use
Last updated August 30, 2026
Stack is operated by Evergreen Web Studios. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. Please read the first section carefully — it is the one that matters most.
Stack is education, not financial advice
Everything in Stack is general educational content. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
Stack does not know your income, your debts, your goals or your circumstances, and nothing in it is tailored to you. Before making a decision that affects your money, talk to a qualified professional who does know your situation.
Lessons include worked examples with tax rates, contribution rates and thresholds. These are illustrative and are used to teach the mechanics of a calculation — they are simplified, they do not capture every rule or bracket, and government rates change every year. Never use a number from a Stack lesson to file a return or plan a real budget. Check the current figures with the Canada Revenue Agency or your provincial authority.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity that happens under your account.
- Give an email address you actually control — it is how you confirm the account and recover access.
- One account per person. Do not share an account or let someone else use yours.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Stack is not directed at children under 13.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Break into, probe, or interfere with the service or anyone else's account.
- Tamper with the app to falsify progress, XP or streaks.
- Copy the lesson content to redistribute or sell it. The curriculum, design and code are owned by Evergreen Web Studios
- Use the service for anything unlawful.
The service is free, and provided as-is
Stack is currently free to use. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of bugs, or that every figure in every lesson is current.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Evergreen Web Studios is not liable for any loss arising from your use of Stack — including any financial decision you make after reading a lesson. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations do not apply to you.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab; see the Privacy Policy for what that removes. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
These terms may change as the app develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use Stack after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules. Questions go to support@stack-app.app.
